Same Instruments in Logic but They Require Far More Resources???

It is my error, but I “assumed” I would be able to use Apple vst instruments within other DAW’s. Rather than having to slave my mac to another master DAW. Cool program but the functionality is limited to using it truly as a stand alone. The same instruments require more CPU resources than using them within Garage Band or Logic X, which makes no sense at all.
